Rick Ross rides high on the west coast in “911,” the hard-hitting street cut off his newly released God Forgives, I Don’t album. DJ Khaled and Gunplay make cameos in the Spiff TV & DRE Films-directed flick as Rozay speeds through Hollywood in expensive sports cars. It’s shaping up to be a great week for Ross, not only is he featured on Mariah Carey’s new single, but the boss’ new album is set to debut at #1 on the charts next week moving an estimated 200-225k copies opening week.

Me and Mikey Fresh are out in Los Angeles this week, checking out the events and interviewing old friends backstage at the run up to this Sunday’s BET Awards. On Friday, we had a hilarious conversation with Timbaland (guess what, he hates everything), and a fascinating one with Faith Evans….

But today, while we were having a no-holds-barred chat with ASAP Rocky (soon come!)….Mr. North tipped us off to Chris Brown’s Drake-diss “I Don’t Like” freestyle.
So when Meek Mill (who was with Drake during his Club W.I.P. brawl with Chris Brown) and Big Sean (Chris Brown’s homeboy and collaborator) stopped by to chat, I had to ask them what they think of the latest round in the Chris Brown vs Drake battle.

Rozay’s fifth studio album, God Forgives, I Don’t arrives July 31.Originally slated to drop on June 1st, Iggy Azalea has put her upcoming Glory EP on hold for a little while longer. Until then, the Aussie femcee grabs labelmates T.I. and Bobby Ray for “Million Dollar Misfits” aka “MDM.”Nas wants to celebrate and invites us all to do so on Life Is Good, his 10th studio album set to drop on July 17. For his first solo album since 2008’s Untitled, Nas offers an 18-track deluxe edition that includes appearances from Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, Large Professor, Swizz Beatz, Miguel, and Anthony Hamilton. The one guest feature that stands out comes from the late Amy Winehouse, who’ll appear on “Cherry Wine.” With No I.D. and Salaam Remi handling executive producer duties, that doesn’t mean Nasty Nas didn’t reach out to other producers as J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Noah “40″ Shebib, Buckwild, Boi-1da, and Rodney Jerkins all offer contributions.

I’m not so crazy about this one. It just sounds like sound effects to me, like where’s the groove? I think a remix might change my mind though. Look out for this to make Guetta’s forthcoming album, Nothing but the Beat on August 29th. Jersey Shore music.
